TESTING AND ASSESSMENT Insights Discovery The Insights measures personality characteristics and preferences and leads to predictions of how one relates to others in the work environment. It describes specific strengths and weaknesses of an individual within the realm of effective personal communication. The test is administered on-line and takes about 25 minutes to complete.
California Personality Inventory (CPI) The CPI assesses personality and behavior giving a broad and detailed personal portrait of an individual. The instrument looks at such traits as independence, responsibility, self-control, and flexibility.
Shipley Institute of Living Scale The Shipley is an abilities test which measures vocabulary and abstract reasoning skills. Test results an overall measure of verbal abilities and intelligence.
Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale-Revised The Wechsler is a full intellectual battery which measures both performance and verbal abilities. The subtests look at such abilities as comprehension, arithmetic, vocabulary, abstract reasons, and motor skills.
Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-2 (MMPI) The MMPI is one of the most frequently used personality tests in mental health. It is considered the gold standard of personality testing. It’s primary use in therapy is as a aid in goal setting and confirming a diagnosis.
Strong Campbell Interest Inventory The Strong Campbell is used in career and life planning. The instrument provides detailed information about one’s career interests and how similar they are to those already in those occupations. In short, the Strong Campbell tells you if you would like the activities performed in particular occupational groups and, also, more specifically, in particular careers.
